LA CROSSE AREA RESOURCES

The Runaway and Homeless Youth Mediation and Emergency Services (RHYMES) is a group of strong, passionate, and diverse non-profit organizations coming together to provide access and funding to runaway and homeless youth to safe and affirming resources in the greater La Crosse region. RHYMES utilizes existing specialized programming to support, educate, and advocate for youth.

The REACH Services and Resource Center is the first of its kind in Western Wisconsin. A collaborative project between nonprofit agencies in Western Wisconsin that establishes a first of a kind walk-in resource center offering housing navigation, homeless prevention, mental/AODA support, healthcare, and violence prevention and support in one location.

Couleecap homeless programs provide assistance to currently homeless individuals and households.

Service Area: La Crosse, Monroe, and Vernon counties | Eligibility: Families or individuals must be literally homeless (in emergency shelter, on the street, or fleeing domestic violence) and lack the resources to secure alternative housing. Individuals must be at least eighteen years old.

Independent Living Resources (ILR) can assist if you are unhoused. Are you staying outside, in a shelter, in your car or fleeing domestic violence? Contact ILR by calling or using the online referral and a specialist will contact you back with resources, information, and any assistance that we can offer you. ILR does not provide financial resources but can help identify barriers to housing.
